FAQ
Basketball Goals — common questions
Is this a one-day job?
In-ground goals are two visits. Day one we dig and set the anchor in concrete; it has to cure before it can carry a pole and backboard. Day two — typically 3 to 5 days later — we come back and mount everything. Portables are a single visit.
Do you handle the concrete?
Yes. Digging the footing, mixing and pouring, and setting the anchor kit plumb are all part of the job. You don't need to source anything.
Can you take down my old goal?
Yes. We can remove an existing goal and, if you want, cut the old footing down below grade so you can patch the driveway or grass over it.
Memphis clay — is that a problem for the footing?
It's why depth matters here. We dig to the manufacturer's spec rather than eyeballing it, which is the difference between a goal that stays plumb and one that leans after a couple of wet seasons.
